Apple, AMD, Airbnb, Pfizer and a jobs report: the first week of November is loaded. After a rough Friday for tech, investors head into a stretch where some of the market’s biggest names report earnings. If you want a stock market week ahead guide for Nov. 2 to 6, 2026, here is the calendar, based on Kiplinger’s earnings calendar updated Oct. 30.
Stock market week ahead: the key dates
Kiplinger notes that its dates are tentative except for companies it labels “Earnings Spotlights,” so confirm each report with the company’s investor relations page before you trade on it. With that caveat, here is the schedule.
Monday, Nov. 2
Apple reports fiscal fourth-quarter results after the close, the first under CEO John Ternus. Consensus estimates are earnings of $1.98 per share on revenue of $113.3 billion. Before the open, Estee Lauder, Marriott and Fox are among those reporting.
Tuesday, Nov. 3
AMD reports third-quarter results after the close, with consensus at $1.94 per share and $13.1 billion in revenue. Others reporting after the close include Amgen, Arista Networks, Block, Booking Holdings, Duolingo and Super Micro Computer. Before the open: Pfizer, Shopify, Sysco, Eaton, Ferrari, Fiserv and Yum! Brands. It is also Election Day, so read our voter checklist if you are heading to the polls.
Wednesday, Nov. 4
Before the open, look for CVS Health, Uber, McDonald’s and Datadog. After the close, AppLovin, Arm Holdings, Expedia and Fair Isaac are on the list.
Thursday, Nov. 5
Becton Dickinson, Cardinal Health, ConocoPhillips, Cummins, Kimberly-Clark and Zoetis report before the open. After the close, Airbnb, Cloudflare, Atlassian, Axon, Lyft and Live Nation are scheduled.
Friday, Nov. 6
Charter Communications, Humana and Moderna report before the open. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is also expected to release its October employment report before the opening bell. Kiplinger says markets are expecting “continuing stability,” though it published no consensus figures.
Saturday, Nov. 7
Berkshire Hathaway reports, its first report since Warren Buffett stepped down as chairman, according to Kiplinger. Consensus is $6.14 per share on $97.3 billion in revenue.
Why this week matters after Friday’s sell-off
On Friday, Oct. 30, the Nasdaq fell 2.9% to 25,437, its worst day since March 2025, as we covered in our market recap. The S&P 500 closed at 7,580 and the Dow at 51,770. When a sell-off is led by technology, the earnings of the biggest tech companies become the next test. Apple and AMD are two of the most closely watched, and both report in the first two days of the week.
How to use an earnings calendar wisely
Focus on a few companies you actually own
More than 100 companies will report. You do not need to follow all of them. Pick the handful that matter to your portfolio or your job, and note their report dates.
Understand what “consensus” means
Consensus is the average analyst estimate for earnings per share and revenue. A company can beat the number and still see its stock fall if its forward guidance disappoints, and the reverse can also happen. The reaction depends on expectations, not just results.
Remember the jobs report moves rates expectations
Employment data feeds into how investors think about the Federal Reserve. After the Fed held rates on a 10-2 vote on Oct. 28, with Chair Warsh hinting a December hike is still possible, a strong or weak report could shift those expectations.
The bottom line
This is a heavy week: Apple Monday, AMD Tuesday, Airbnb Thursday, the jobs report Friday and Berkshire on Saturday. Write down your key dates, check the company sources for confirmation, and avoid making big decisions on a single headline. For official company filings, you can search the SEC’s EDGAR database.
