Prime Video: Big Swings in November 2026 Streaming
Prime Video has the month’s heaviest hitters, and they are spread out, which helps your schedule (and your wallet).
- The Greatest (Nov. 4): An eight-part limited series about Muhammad Ali’s rise after his 1960 Olympic gold. Michael B. Jordan and Jay-Z are executive producers, and Jaalen Best plays Ali, with Omari Hardwick, Dana Fourrier, Amin Joseph and Michael Ealy in the cast.
- The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Season 3 (Nov. 11): Charlie Vickers, Morfydd Clark, Jamie Campbell Bower and Robert Aramayo return as Sauron, Galadriel, Celeborn and Elrond. The season jumps ahead to the era when Sauron creates the One Ring. Per Tom’s Guide, the first four episodes arrive at once, with the finale on Nov. 25.
- Madden (Nov. 18): A biopic of broadcaster and coach John Madden, played by Nicolas Cage, with Christian Bale as Raiders owner Al Davis. It covers the creation of the Madden NFL video games.
- Blade Runner 2099 (Nov. 25): The sci-fi sequel series stars Hunter Schafer, with Michelle Yeoh as an aging Blade Runner. Tom’s Guide reports all eight episodes drop together.
The Wrap’s calendar also lists the film They Will Kill You on Nov. 20 and Clashing Through the Snow on Nov. 23, if you want something lighter between the epics.
Disney+ and Hulu: Family Night and Binge Night
Disney+: Percy Jackson returns Nov. 20
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Season 3 premieres Nov. 20 with a two-episode launch on Disney+. It adapts The Titan’s Curse, with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri back as Percy, Annabeth and Grover. New episodes continue through the Thanksgiving weekend, which makes it an easy family pick.
Holiday movie fans also get a boost on Nov. 20, when A Christmas Story, Four Christmases, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express hit the service. Disney+ also lists Mickey’s Home Alone as a premiere on Nov. 27.
Hulu: soapy, funny and a little bit messy
- All’s Fair, Season 2 (Nov. 4): A Hulu Original with a three-episode premiere.
- Abbott Elementary, Season 6 (Nov. 5): The workplace comedy is back, alongside The Kardashians Season 8 and Shark Tank Season 18 the same day.
- Reasonable Doubt, Season 4 (Nov. 10): Another Hulu Original, plus the new series Phony that day.
- Rivals, Season 2, Part 2 (Nov. 11): A three-episode premiere.
- The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County (Nov. 12): A series premiere for reality fans.
Also worth noting: the 60th Annual CMA Awards stream live on Disney+ on Nov. 18, with Hulu on-demand.
HBO Max, Paramount+ and Peacock: The Best Premium Drama
HBO Max: The Gilded Age is back
The Gilded Age, Season 4 arrived Nov. 1. Julian Fellowes’ period drama stars Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Christine Baranski, Louisa Jacobson, Harry Richardson, Denee Benton and Phylicia Rashad, with Jim Gaffigan guest starring as President Grover Cleveland.
The service also stocked up on holiday comfort viewing on Nov. 1, including Elf, The Polar Express, A Christmas Story and Jerry Maguire. Later in the month, The Roses (2025) and A24’s Tony arrive on Nov. 20. Still hunting for something spookier? Our roundup of Halloween movies on HBO Max, Hulu, Shudder and Tubi is still handy, since the horror catalogs do not vanish on Nov. 1.
Paramount+: the end of Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets, Season 4 premieres Nov. 20 on Paramount+ and is billed as the final season. Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress and Christina Ricci lead the cast. Paramount+ also wraps MobLand Season 2 that day, and its Thanksgiving slate includes the Bears at Lions NFL game on Nov. 26.
Peacock: thriller and comedy
The Good Daughter (Nov. 12) is a six-episode thriller adapted by Karin Slaughter from her 2019 novel, with Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy as estranged lawyer sisters and Brendan Gleeson in the cast. Dig (Nov. 23) is a comedy from Michael Schur and Amy Poehler about archaeologists and college students on a summer dig in Greece.
Apple TV: Short Month, Strong Picks
Apple TV’s November 2026 streaming slate is small but star-powered:
- Stick, Season 2 (Nov. 4): Owen Wilson plays a washed-up golfer chasing a spot as the oldest U.S. Open winner, with Peter Dager, Timothy Olyphant and Rhea Seehorn.
- 12 12 12 (Nov. 13): A heist thriller about a Zurich bank robbery, starring Anthony Mackie as a disgraced FBI agent and Jamie Dornan as a career criminal.
- Way of the Warrior Kid (Nov. 25): Based on Jocko Willink’s book, with Chris Pratt as a decorated soldier training his 11-year-old nephew, played by Jude Hill.
Which Streaming Services to Keep or Cancel This Month
Here is how the calendar breaks down if you are trying to avoid paying for services you are not using.
| Service | Big dates | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Paramount+ | Yellowjackets finale season, Nov. 20 | Subscribe late in the month, then pause |
| Disney+ | Percy Jackson S3, Nov. 20 | Keep from Nov. 20 if you have kids or fantasy fans |
| Hulu | Abbott Elementary, Reasonable Doubt, Rivals | Keep for the early-to-mid month run |
| HBO Max | The Gilded Age S4 (weekly) | Keep if you follow it live |
| Prime Video | Rings of Power, Madden, Blade Runner 2099 | Late-month binge; see below |
| Apple TV | Stick, 12 12 12, Way of the Warrior Kid | Easy to pause |
That table is our take, not a rule. For a counterpoint, Tom’s Guide argues you should cancel standalone Prime Video ($8.99 a month with ads) and Apple TV ($14.99 a month) in November. Its reasoning: Rings of Power can wait until December for a binge, Blade Runner 2099 arrives so late that waiting a week costs you nothing, and Apple’s lineup is thin after recent big seasons ended. Canceling both could save nearly $30. If Prime Video comes bundled with your Amazon Prime membership, those savings do not apply.
The Takeaway: Rotate, Do Not Stack
The smartest way to handle November 2026 streaming is to treat services like a rotation. Start with Hulu for the early comedy and drama, hold HBO Max for The Gilded Age, then save a few dollars by grabbing Paramount+ and Disney+ right when Yellowjackets and Percy Jackson land on Nov. 20. Prime Video’s late-month epics can wait for a weekend binge, and Apple TV is the easiest to pause.

Quick tip: if you are juggling several services, write down the two or three premiere dates you care about most. Everything else can wait for a quiet weekend, and most of these shows will still be there in December when you have time to catch up.
